Tanning Tip: Beat the Pressure Points!

The Tip:

Wiggle, shift, and move during your session!

Why?

When you lie perfectly still, the weight of your body on the bed can restrict blood flow to certain areas—like your shoulder blades and tailbone. Because oxygenated blood flow is essential to developing a deep tan, those "pressure points" can end up lighter than the rest of your skin.

The Fix:

Always stay on your back: Do not turn onto your front or try to flip over mid-session. Pushing off with your knees or elbows can crack or break the acrylic bed surface.

Shift your weight gently from side to side every few minutes.

Slightly bend your knees (just a little! not as much in the picture).

Lift your arms above your head for part of your session.

Mix it up: To get those stubborn pressure points completely bronze, alternate your sessions between our laydown beds and stand-up units!
