Laying on your stomach (prone) then on your back (supine) is common for massage sessions. But it’s not the only position. Your massage session is for YOU. We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your time and have a chance to rest while we provide relief and relaxation.

⭐️ Experiencing upset stomach or acid reflux — add a couple pillows behind your head or sit up.
⭐️ Constipation adding too much pressure on your stomach — try side lying.
⭐️ Back pain flaring up or generally uncomfortable laying on a table — try a seated treatment.
⭐️ Pregnant — some places offer a pregnancy bolster but other options including seated or side lying.
⭐️ Rounded shoulders or larger chest — try some towel bolsters under the shoulders.
⭐️ Headrest — totally adjustable and can add an extra towel for a slight lift.

Talk to your RMT about what’s more comfortable. You are not a bother. A good practitioner will happily accommodate and work with you to find the best position.

Carpal tunnel isn’t fun, sometimes it’s short lived and other times it’s chronic and requires surgery. Muscle tension can cause this impingement, talk to your massage therapist about your symptoms.

Massage may be useful for those having trouble sleeping. Using slow and relaxing techniques may even put some people asleep on the table — and that’s okay ! Massage may also help alleviate symptoms that keep you up like stress, pain, headaches, constipation, or more. Talk to you massage therapist about what’s interrupting your sleep in case it’s something we can help with. If this is the only reason you need massage, consider scheduling your appointment near nap or sleep time, bring comfortable clothes or pyjamas, and a designated driver.

A common misconception and great to learn for both first timers to massage therapy or those going for decades. You don’t have to undress if you don’t want to ! Skin on skin contact may give us the best outcome, but not if you’re uncomfortable ! We can work together and find your comfort level and every session can be different. Keep in mind, oil may stain, so if you will have fabric nearby maybe pick some you don’t care much about. If you have more questions or need some clarity, ask me or your massage therapist

As you may know, earlier this month, my mother passed away. She was an integral part of my massage therapy journey and provided encouragement throughout my career change. She was one of the few people I knew who loved their job and never gave up against a challenge, something that I carry with me to work daily. She is my inspiration in all aspects of my life. ♥️ 🕊️

I love helping others find relief and hope, where a new injury is my challenge to find a treatment that provides you with results, and where I can offer a place and a moment of safety, peace, and understanding. That is my first priority as your massage therapist. 🫶 🤲

Thank you to all my clients for your kind words and condolences. They were felt and made my first week back very rewarding. I appreciate your patience as we juggle appointments and I catch up on my schedule. I look forward to our sessions. 🙏

Thank you to Lifemark Physiotherapy Elmsdale and Fall River Physiotherapy - pt Health for being employers who supported me in a difficult time and provided the time off I needed so that I can come back ready to support our clients in the way they deserve. I hope all workplaces will someday be this understanding, it makes a world of difference ! 🙏

Thank you to my coworkers who expressed such kind words and support, from playing the role of a messenger to having to figuring out the puzzle of rescheduling weeks of appointments. It does not go unseen or unappreciated, it helped me so much. 🙏

Take time for yourself and loved ones, and have a wonderful weekend. ✌️
