1️⃣ Basic training is not enough – Just because you got certified doesn’t mean you’re ready to take clients. Mastering retention, styling, and business skills is what actually makes you successful.

2️⃣ Lower prices won’t help you build a clientele – Cheap prices attract the wrong clients. Instead of trying to be the “cheapest,” focus on creating a high-quality experience that makes clients want to pay your worth.

3️⃣ Your work alone won’t bring clients – Being good at lashes isn’t enough. If no one knows about your work, you won’t get booked. Learning marketing & branding is just as important as perfecting your lash sets.

4️⃣ Not all lash products are created equal – The products you use make or break your retention. Investing in high-quality adhesive, lashes, and prep products will save you time, stress, and unhappy clients.

5️⃣ Policies & boundaries will save your business – No-shows, late clients, and last-minute cancellations will happen. Having clear policies (and sticking to them) will protect your time and income.
