To all the nurses out there, the caretakers, the energy givers, the healers, the comforters, the educators, the compassion carriers, the trusted hands, the frontline hero’s, the resilience experts, and so many more things.

I have spent my career practicing bedside nursing in a northern setting in rural Northwest Territories, to emergency nursing in our community here for over 15 years. Now having spent the past 8 years in cosmetic nursing, I see the value in so many aspects of nursing and am so grateful to have chosen this path.

And from one nurse to another, .silspa is the truest definition of a nurse. She carries compassion and strength into every room, whether it’s a buzzing ICU room or her calm aesthetic room at the spa. She practices nursing with equal parts science, skill and heart.
I know I can say that both her clients at the spa, and her patients at the hospital feel a sigh of relief knowing they’re in her hands.
