Five days in the mountains .
Some moments stay with you.
We stopped on the trail for a break and everything felt still. Blue sky above us. Snow stacked heavy on every branch. Powder untouched. Birds chirping deep in the forest.
It was one of those rare, magical pauses where you just stand there and take it in. I pulled out my phone because I knew I would want to remember that sound.
The rest of the week looked like this.
Cold air in your lungs. Deep snow under the track. Long steady climbs where your core locks in, hips shift, shoulders brace, hands gripping tight while every stabilizer fires to keep you balanced.
Winter terrain works you differently. It is not just strength. It is control. Endurance. Micro adjustments all day long. Core, hips, shoulders, grip strength. We felt it after every single day.
Each evening we rolled back into the cabin and the soreness settled in. Heavy legs. Tight forearms. That deep ache across your shoulders that says you showed up fully. No bath waiting. Just stretching, food, sleep, and doing it all again the next morning.
It was not until day five, when I finally got home, that I sank into hot water.
Steam rising. Muscles softening. Heat opening everything that had worked so hard all week.
I build my Mineral Soaks for this life because this is the life I live.
Epsom salt to ease tension.
Magnesium flakes for deeper muscle support.
Dead Sea salt for circulation.
French grey and Himalayan salts to replenish trace minerals lost through sweat and cold exposure.
Nature clears my mind.
Movement strengthens my body.
Recovery keeps me out there longer.

We’ve had a strange winter. Thin snow, bare patches, lots of talk about what’s missing.
But if you’re willing to wander a little and actually look, there’s still so much beauty out there.
I found this the other day. Quiet. Still. Absolutely breathtaking.
It was a good reminder that beauty doesn’t disappear. Sometimes it just asks us to slow down, pay attention, and choose to see it.
❤️❤️❤️ With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’ve been thinking about that a lot. About presence. Care. Little moments that say I see you.
I’ll be releasing a small batch of Valentine gifts early next week Tuesday and Wednesday. Very limited quantities, made with intention, and meant to be given thoughtfully.
Keep your eyes open.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table, shared a moment, asked questions, or brought something home. These markets remind me how much kindness and warmth live in our little mountain communities. It means a lot to me that you choose to support small makers.
A big thank you to the woman who stepped in to help manage the day. She is known for being incredibly organized and keeping things on track and it truly showed this weekend. Her steady, structured approach made everything run smoothly and brought a sense of calm to a very busy market. I really appreciated the way she handled everything.
And thank you to the Cranbrook staff, volunteers, and all the other vendors who brought their creativity and heart to the event. These gatherings always remind me how supportive this community is and how lucky we are to live in a place where people show up for each other.
I am grateful for every single person who helped make this weekend such a warm and steady experience. Thank you Cranbrook for another beautiful market. I always drive home feeling proud to be part of this valley.

This weekend in Cranbrook reminded me why I love our mountain communities so much. I spent the market beside a vendor from Weavers Bee Co and it felt like one of those slow conversations neighbours have while leaning over a fence. Later in the day I had the chance to chat with her husband and he shared more about their family’s beekeeping work. Their bees travel through so many parts of British Columbia, from the West Coast and the Okanagan to Invermere, Creston, and deep into the mountains. Sometimes even as far as Dawson Creek.
There was something grounding about hearing how their hives sit out in nature, gathering nectar from whatever blooms the land offers that season. Blossoms, wildflowers, orchards, berry fields. Every place gives the bees something different and you can feel their family’s appreciation for that.
It always feels good when I can bring more of our region into the things I create. The Elk Valley and the surrounding areas are filled with families who put their heart into what they make. Supporting each other keeps this valley strong and connected.
I brought home a full batch of their beeswax and from now on, any beeswax in my products will be sourced directly from their family. It feels good knowing exactly where it comes from and that it was created by bees working in the wild.
I cannot wait to weave this piece of their family’s story into the products you bring into your home.

There’s a quiet satisfaction in knowing what’s touching your skin and your family’s. Our natural powdered laundry soap was created for those who want truly clean laundry without the mystery ingredients.
Each batch starts with a blend of mineral-based cleaners that lift dirt naturally, leaving behind fresh, soft fabrics instead of residue. Ingredients like sodium carbonate and bicarbonate help deep clean and control odours, while pure lemon essential oil adds natural brightening and deodorizing power. Every component has a purpose, working together to clean effectively without unnecessary additives or synthetic fragrance.
Because it’s concentrated, you only need a small scoop per load. It rinses clean, is septic safe, and helps extend the life of your clothes while keeping your home free from hidden chemicals.
You can find it in store at Interior Envy in Fernie or order it through my website.

There’s something special about slowing down. About sinking into warm water and letting everything else quiet down for a little while.
I made these Shift & Soak intention cubes for a Witch’s Market on a whim… and they sold out. I brought them to the Fernie Craft Fair… sold out again. So clearly, these little cubes are speaking to you just as much as they did to me when I first made them.
Each set includes four handcrafted cubes: Purify, Clarity, Grounded Calm, and Shield. They’re made with mineral salts, natural clays, and pure essential oils. But more than that, they’re made with intention.
When I blend the essential oils for each one, I choose them with purpose. The grounding cube carries calming earthy notes to help bring you back to centre. The shielding cube is layered with protective steadying scents. Each blend is chosen to match the energy behind it, whether that’s releasing, grounding, clearing, or protecting.
Each cube also comes with a simple phrase, a few quiet words to anchor you as the water swirls around you. A reminder to breathe, to let go, and to reconnect with yourself.
I never expected these to become a favourite, but here we are.
👉 Should I make the Shift & Soak Set a permanent part of the website or keep it as a seasonal release? 🌿Comment below… Yes please keep them or make them seasonal.

✨ Fall Market Fun ✨
Simply Wild Co Naturals will be at the Fall Craft Fair this Saturday at Elks Hall, and my booth will be run by two pretty special humans, my daughter Natalia and my nephew Thoren
They’ve grown up using these products, and it’s been really sweet watching them take an interest in helping me with the more social side of things. They’re stepping up in such a big way… learning how to chat with customers, share what they love, and bring their own energy to the table.
Supporting local isn’t just about supporting small… it’s also about showing these young go-getters that their efforts matter. Every smile, every conversation, every little sale… it all makes a difference.
If you’re at the market, come say hi, have a little browse, and help cheer them on. I can promise you they’ll be there with bright smiles and a whole lot of heart.

Lately I’ve been moving a little slower. More intentional. More present.
And while I haven’t been as active here, I’ve still been creating quietly, slowly, and with care. The changing seasons always remind me to listen closely to what matters most. Rest, nourishment, movement, connection. I’ve been paying attention to all of it and giving my body and mind the space they’ve been asking for.
Now, as I ease back into rhythm, I wanted to share a little update. I’ll be doing a small run of winter creations this season and am happy to take on a few pre-orders for those who want to plan ahead. This helps me make small batches around our family schedule and ensures I can include the things you love most.
Whether it’s a few bath bombs for stockings, a jar of your favourite cream, a gift basket for someone special, or a small batch of items to add to your company’s holiday gifts, I’d be grateful to create something for you. I won’t be making as much as usual this year so early requests are definitely appreciated.
I’ll also be seeing folks in Fernie, Jaffray, Cranbrook, and Lethbridge this November. If you’re in those areas, keep an eye out. I’d love to connect in person.
Thank you, as always, for supporting small handmade creations. Whether it’s something for your body, your skin, or your spirit, I hope my products continue to feel like a quiet kind of care.

A little throwback to summer when I got to put together gift bags for a stagette. It was such a sweet idea and honestly so fun to make. Soap, soak, lip balm… all the little goodies.
I may have also tucked in something that doesn’t even have its label yet. It’s been floating around quietly for a while now and a few people keep asking for refills, but I still haven’t sat myself down for that final branding moment. One day it’ll be official, but for now it’s just sneaking its way into bags like these.
Maybe you’ll spot it next time 🌿
