I watched my beautiful friend go to hell and back this past year. In my eyes, her journey was nothing short of torture; two surgeries, chemo and then radiation. I’m in awe of her resilience, she’s stronger than ever and I can’t wait to make new memories with her. ❤️

Breast cancer research has come a long way from years ago, but it still has a long way to go.
Someday, I hope we never have to hear about (any) cancer ever again. 🙏

Absolutely! I work in my home based studio 5 days a week.

*️⃣ Where did you train?
I’ve trained in a lot of places. I’ve been to Edmonton & Calgary several times, Vancouver , Miami & Texas for training. I have 37 certifications in Cosmetic & Medical tattooing.

*️⃣How long have you been doing this?
7 years.

*️⃣ Do you train other artists ?
I’m sorry, I don’t currently have an interest is training artists; maybe some day.

*️⃣ Do you do body tattoos?
I do not.

*️⃣ How many clients do you see a day?
I don’t like to see anymore than 5.

*️⃣ What’s your favourite service ?
Tattooing Ni***es/ Ar**la for breast cancer survivors is the most rewarding ❤️ . I do love doing brows as well.

*️⃣ What’s your most popular service ?
Eyebrows for sure. I do a lot of eyeliner and lip tattooing as well.

*️⃣ How many eyebrows do you think you have done ?
Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to say. Maybe some day I will count . If I were to guess, I would say that I have done at least 5,000 cosmetic/ medical tattoo procedures.

*️⃣ How long have you been in Fort Mcmurray?
I’ve been here since 2000.

*️⃣ Where are you from ?
I’m from Torbay, NL.

These brows are almost 2.5 years old!

These images are straight out of my camera. Not a blemish to be corrected ! My client is such a natural beauty.

When is it time for a refresh? Well, that’s up to you.

There was a time when I recommended every year. However, I believe that’s absolutely unnecessary for most.

Most of my clients need a Color Boost/ Brow Refresh every 2-3 years.

So, how do you know when it’s time ?

- [x] The color has changed (gone “flat” or dull, cooled off, etc.)
- [x] The color has faded;
- [x] They color has gotten patchy;
- [x] The color no longer blends with your natural brow;
- [x] The “borders” of the tattoo are no longer visible; and/ or
- [x] You feel like you need to apply makeup to your brows now.

The areas of the brow that you have the least amount of hair will likely stand out to you first as the pigment fades in this area.

The absolute number one thing that you can do to keep your brows looking good for as long as possible is protecting your brows from the sun. (Sunscreen!)

These brows are a “Nano Combo” brow. That’s both hair strokes and shading made with a tattoo machine.

If you get lip filler after you’ve gotten your lips tattooed, do you need to get the outline of the lip tattoo “moved”?

NO. The vermillion border (margin between the lip and normal skin ) NEVER changes !
