Adults should consume a total of 11.5 to 15.5 cups of water daily. Including foods. Which is roughly 20% of your intake.
The exact amount fluctuates based on activity, climate and overall health.

Fun fact, men need more water a day than women.

The benefits of staying hydrated are hydration helps body functions such as temperature,joints, aides in digestion.
Mental clarity is also impacted by hydration.
Helps with the body's waste removal system.
But a bonus is it helps with calorie management.

Starting is hard. Continuing is hard. Consistency is hard.
But it's worth it. It's the whole point.
You gain strength, confidence and self love in ways you didn't know you could.

Don't second guess if you can do this or not.

Sometimes you gotta be silly, joke around and laugh through the workout. It doesn't always have to be blood sweat and tears. You're there moving, have some fun with it, it's not that deep. So shut the noise out, turn up the music and laugh through it.

One of my biggest insecurities is "my bat wings " . Super common for women to have the extra skin and fat on the unders of your arms. Making life uncomfortable and making us feel less confident. No single workout will remove that but tricep work out helps tighten it and build muscle to replace the fat. A huge misconception is that workouts target certain fat areas but the reality is that it doesn't specifically. Nutrition is a huge factor to overall body fat. So although the workouts can help tone, the nutrition you have daily is also a key factor.
Weight loss is vulnerable. But it doesn't have to be impossible.

I've been working out for 14 months.
The people I thought would stand by me the most, laughed.
The people I never thought would see it, notice the most.

I don't miss the claps I didn't get from people that should have because the ones who do clap, clap louder.

Just people they don't get it doesn't mean they shouldn't support it. But unfortunately people are mysterious.

And to be clear I'll clap the loudest 😉

The difference between these pictures is 6 months.
Left was January. I started to see slight definition in my bicep side profile. Today I'm noticing the traps, biceps and triceps when I take these pictures. That is probably one of the coolest feelings as a girly doing weight loss and strength training. It's hard to see all the work you're doing under the fluff., so when it shows, you celebrate 🥳

Consistency, truly is key.
