Trista's been with me since her very first spray tan in 2024 when we started doing prom trial tans! Can't believe it's been 2 years ❤️

This is exactly why every tan is customized. 🤎

Her dress was already making a bold statement, so we wanted her skin to look glowy without competing with it. Keeping the tan a little lighter created contrast between her skin, the dress, and her beautiful features.

She didn’t need a dark tan to make an impact. Her natural beauty did that all on its own. We simply added a healthy, sun kissed glow to enhance what was already there. ✨

A customized tan makes all the difference when you want that deep bronzed look while still keeping the skin natural and even.

It was Sarah’s first ever spray tan… what do we think? 😍

One thing about me as an artist is that I like to ease my clients into spray tanning. That means I usually won’t take you super dark at your very first appointment and here’s why 👇

1. We don’t know how your skin will react yet
Higher DHA levels (the ingredient that develops the tan) can sometimes pull unexpected tones on certain skin types. I’d rather play it safe and build from there.

2. Going from pale to ultra dark can feel shocking
Especially if you don’t naturally tan in the sun. A softer, natural looking glow helps you get comfortable with the process first.

3. I want you to LOVE your tan
I’d much rather hear “next time I want to go a little darker” than have someone feel way too dark and never want to try spray tanning again 😂

4. Prep matters more than people think
Even with the best instructions, most first time clients miss a few prep steps. Lighter tans are much more forgiving while you learn what works best for your skin.

5. Darker tans take more maintenance
The darker the tan, the more noticeable fading, dryness, and wear can become. Starting lighter gives you a chance to learn proper aftercare before jumping into ultra dark shades.

And honestly… super dark doesn’t suit everyone. The goal is always to enhance your natural beauty, not cover it up. The best tan is the one that complements your skin tone, features, and overall colouring 🤎
