Can't get in the habit of daily flossing?
That's ok!
Get it done when you can, any time of day!
There is no perfect time to floss. If in the morning works best for you, then the morning is great! If you prefer to floss at lunch time, floss at lunch time!
The important thing is that you are getting it done! The time of day does not matter!

πŸ’₯YOUR NECK IS STRONGπŸ’₯
-
πŸ‘πŸΌ Great post from @adammeakins, which emphasizes what I tell my patients everyday: "Your spine is much STRONGER than you think!" πŸ’ͺ🏼
-
πŸ“š Studies have found that the neck is exposed to 60 pounds of force when its titled forward when looking at a phone! 😱 Many of you may have heard of this referred to as "TEXT NECK SYNDROME"
-
🚨 Sounds dangerous, right? Hold my phone...
-
πŸ“š Previous studies such as Przybyla et al (2007, Spine), have found that neck segments from cadavers (dead bodies) can tolerate 560 pounds before they suffer structural failure!
-
🀯 That's the same weight as a full barrel of crude oil! πŸ›’
-
☠️ And thats in DEAD, non adaptable tissue, so think about what LIVING human spines can tolerate! πŸ’ͺ🏼
-
❌ I’m sick and tired of all the nonsense and fear mongering in the media and from healthcare professionals about necks being fragile
-
βœ… Necks are strong and resilient and can be made even more so with training
-
⁉️ Can looking down at your phone for hours SOMETIMES contribute to neck pain? Of course. But so can sitting in a stiff erect posture for long periods, looking up for long periods performing overhead work, and for many other non-specific reasons that have nothing to do with your position or movement! (stress, lack of sleep, depression, anxiety, poor nutrition, etc)
-
πŸ’₯ Having pain in your neck does not mean that you are injured or have a weak spine! And looking down at your phone is not dangerous!
-
πŸ“£ So please spread the word to your friends, family, coworkers, or anyone else that needs to hear this message! YOUR NECK IS STRONG! 09/16/2019

Treatment Reactions / Side Effects The majority of people (70%) have a reaction to treatment after an Trigger point Session. Treatment reactions are a natural part of the overall effect of TPT. We have become accustomed to going to the doctor and receiving a pill or remedy, which usually works within a few hours. TPT seems to work differently. TPT taps into the body’s own healing mechanisms, and these often take a few days to adjust and rebalance. Curiously, from research it seems that the worse the treatment reaction, the better the improvement that seems to follow it!

Most think that resting an injury will cure it. In most cases, simply resting can help an acute injury develop into a long standing chronic issue that is even harder to fix.
Had an acute or chronic injury? Get it taken care of ASAP.
