Today is Julie’s last day in the clinic… for now. ❤️
Even the skies above Golden seem to be grieving a little today — rainy, grey and glum, much like we’re feeling about saying goodbye to one of our own.
The hard part isn’t saying goodbye forever (because thankfully, this isn’t that!), but knowing we won’t get to see Julie walk through the clinic doors every week, share a laugh between appointments, be inspired by her 6 hydration vessels, or have her be part of the everyday magic that makes Unravel what it is.
Julie, thank you for bringing so much to our team and our community over these last few years. Your skill, care, humour and heart have left a very real mark on this little clinic, and you will be SO very missed.
You will always have a home here at Unravel, whenever the time comes to return (every spring and fall please!).❤️
Wishing you, Jon, Cleo and the chickens all the very best as you settle into your new community, your new adventures, and that glorious salt-water pool. 😂
And don’t worry… we’re coming for ya next June! 🥂

🍂Fall self-care, anyone?

September in our small mountain community is a special kind of busy. Kids are back to school, routines are shifting, the trails are calling, gardens are being harvested, and somehow the days seem to disappear even faster than they did in summer. 😅
And while these crisp, golden fall days are absolutely magic, they can also be a good reminder to carve out a little window of time for yourself in preparation for the cooler dark winter days to come.

Today was all about tending to the anatomy of the womb space with Zoe Brule RMT 🌿
First chapter of our Wombspace education complete — diving into the anatomy of the womb at work: the hormonal and biomechanical complexities, paired with the psycho-social-emotional layers that shape this experience. The goal: learning how best to support mama and baby as their shared world grows and transforms together.
In gentle terms: we’re learning how this space shifts and changes, so we can offer nourishing, therapeutic touch that meets mama and baby exactly where they are. 🤍
So very excited to share this level of care with our community!

🌟 Please welcome Katie Gertsch to our team! 🌟
We are beyond thrilled that this longtime Golden Gem has chosen Unravel as the safe haven for her exciting new chapter in massage therapy.
Katie is finishing up her second year of massage training and is ready to start working with the community — offering student massage at a discounted rate on Thursday evenings and Saturday daytimes. Her summer schedule is now live!
Once she graduates, Katie plans to challenge the board certification exams to earn her RMT designation in BC.
What makes Katie such a natural fit here? Her approach to care lines up beautifully with what we stand for at Unravel: to feel safe, to feel heard, to feel supported. She's warm, genuine, grounded, and sharp as a whip — we can already tell she's going to be an incredible RMT and a true asset to this team.

We’re looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team on a short-term locum this spring!
Available shifts:
• Tuesdays & Wednesdays
• Saturday mornings
• Sunday evenings (optional/add-on)
