When I first walked through those doors, I never imagined how deeply I would fall in love with what I do! Somewhere along the way, I have definitely found my calling! Embracing the art of curls, celebrating natural texture and all things hair! I'm thrilled to help people feel truly seen and confident in their own beauty. Becoming a curl specialist has been more than a career path; it’s become my passion, my purpose, and one of the greatest joys of my life!

Your Curls Won’t Be Properly Defined If…
•You skip moisture. (Say yes to the treatment 😉)
Curls require consistent hydration because their shape makes it harder for natural oils to travel down the strand. Without moisture, the hair cuticle stays raised, preventing smooth, defined curl formation.
•You don’t detangle thoroughly. (A good curly brush will change your life)
Tangles and shed hairs create tension points in the curl pattern. This leads to frizz, uneven clumping, and inconsistent curl shapes once the hair dries.
•You apply styling products to dry hair. (Wetter is better)
Water helps open the cuticle slightly and allows products—like leave-ins, creams, and gels—to distribute evenly and bond to the hair. Without water, products sit on top and can’t properly shape or hold the curl.
•You’re not using enough product.
Especially for textured, coily, or high-porosity hair, adequate product is necessary to seal moisture, create curl clumps, and provide long-lasting definition. Under-applying often results in dryness and frizz.
•You touch your curls before they’ve set. (No touchy ✋️)
Disturbing the hair while it’s drying breaks up curl clumps and disrupts the gel cast or styling product’s ability to form. This leads to frizz and loss of definition.
