I’ve been noticing that these areas are valuable for inducing what I call the global twitch response as well. Similar to when you’re falling asleep at night, and a sudden jolt wakes you up. Not surprising that releasing tension here has body-wide impacts due to the interaction with cerebrospinal fluid
🧠 Scientists have discovered a remarkable way to double the brain’s waste clearance system—not with drugs or surgery, but simply by massaging the skin.
A team from the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) has shown in mice that gently stimulating the lymphatic vessels under the skin of the face and neck can dramatically boost cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow. This process helps flush out toxins and waste products from the brain, including harmful proteins linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Using a specially designed mechanical stimulator, researchers restored CSF drainage to youthful levels in aged mice, suggesting a safe, non-invasive strategy to improve brain health.
Even more exciting, the study mapped previously unknown drainage routes from the brain to superficial lymph nodes through facial lymphatics—pathways that remain active even in older animals. This discovery completes the anatomical picture of CSF outflow and hints at future wearable or clinical devices designed to enhance brain cleansing.
While more research is needed before human applications, this gentle mechanical approach may open the door to new therapies aimed at preventing or slowing neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

You guys are probably tired of hearing me mention inserts in your shoes, but here’s that nifty contraption at London drugs located in the pharmacy section. You stand on that doodad and it tells ya what size. Makes a big difference for most people. Especially if you bite the bullet and start wearing indoor shoes with them! Give it a go, they’re like 50 bucks. It all starts with the feet, friends
I’m not releasing your trigger points; your own nervous system is doing that. I’m just gently showing it where to unwind.
Just a reminder that I offer 3 hr treatments. This is about the time required to get proper releases throughout the whole body. The cost is $255. Have a great weekend!
Hey! Your back hurts, ya? Doesn’t need to. Just sayin

Sometimes when trigger points release, you may experience some therapeutic soreness for the 1-2 day period after the treatment. Rest assured that this is normal, and as it lessens, the original pain should also diminish. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Some openings today and tomorrow.

For those of you that have seen me for evening appointments, you’re probably familiar with the sound of the speedball at the boxing gym. They were good neighbors, but the noise had a tendency to pull clients out of ‘the zone’ unfortunately. Well, I can report that the gym has decided to move locations, so the decibel level shouldn’t get above 10! All evenings next week are available

So yeah, just a word of warning. It is possible to feel nauseous after releasing severe trigger points. Pretty rare tho. You’re much more likely to cry (emotional release). But probably, you’ll just fall asleep. Some openings tomorrow btw
