This old barn is still standing, even though I see it leaning over more as each new year comes. One day this 100 year old barn will be no more, but it will be imprinted in my mind as a weathered beautiful barn in the country of Grande Prairie with fantastic sunsets illuminating it and casting gorgeous riot of shadows around it. Acrylic painting.

A beautiful day, surrounded by quiet; green ferns as tall as myself, and my oldest son and I out hiking in Powell River. We came out of the forest to find this weathered old dock complete with a old life jacket, ready for the next adventurer- a wonderful memory to capture with acrylic paint.
