Here at Art & Soul, we are committed to the utmost health and safety of our clients, our employees, our families, and our community. We are taking time to do extra cleaning and sanitation between every guest that sits in our chair.

Please if you have travelled abroad or are experiencing any cold/flu like symptoms to call the salon and reschedule your appointment at this time.

In consideration of the current health conditions, and at the advisory of Health Canada, we recognize that it is in the best interest of everyone, if we limit the capacity of our salon, strictly to employees and clients. Please do not bring anyone to accompany you to your appointment. The salon will be limited to employees, and clients with appointments as well a clients needing to purchase products. If you cannot come alone, please call the salon, as we will have to make other arrangements.

This week in California at BMSCON4 brought on all of the emotions I can experience! I never would of expected the impact this whole journey has had on myself, my work and my personal life. I am so pumped to of done this program to become certified in Natural Beaded Row extensions and EVEN more pumped to be continuing on with the hopes of being accepted to the DKW academy! I am not ready to be done yet! I want the BEST for all of my beautiful clients and this what continuing on with this academy and learning even more will do!!! As I get ready to leave for California tomorrow for my BMScon4 conference (natural beaded row extension system conference!!!). I can’t help think about my journey with NBR this year!
Every transformation has made an impact on not only my clients life but also my love and confidence for the NBR method!!!

What makes you CONFIDENT?

This can be anything! Confidence is a feeling, not something that you can force onto someone else. I know for myself when I am not confident I become sad, unmotivated, and even tired! It affects my whole body!

Why am I talking about confidence you may ask? Well, it affects our everyday life and if we are not confident in ourselves it will be hard to reach those goals we desire in our life!

Hair for me allows me to be confident in myself! From getting a new colour, extending your hair a few more inches or even just getting a beautiful style these are a few ways I can MAYBE bring some confidence out in you!

Behind the Scenes

Every wondered what the installation process looks like for NBR?! Swipe to see the steps

First I part the hair into a VERY clean section. This is how I set up the foundation for success. Without a clean, proper section the row will not lay properly on the head and may cause problems with the grow out.

Next I create a “track” with beads and string along this section. This is the foundation of what the hair will be attached to!

After that I will carefully clip the hand tied wefts onto this row so that the colours blend perfectly with your own hair.

Finally, I will stitch the wefts onto the string that is connected onto the row!
