Not gonna lie…we were both kinda nervous about this transformation! She’s one of the prettiest blonde babes ever and she tells me she wants to put low-lights in…

😳Hm.

…So we did. As you can tell from her before picture, she was majority grown out and natural. Perfect!

I added two different colours of low-lights and toned her to give her a cooler iridescent shimmer overall. I added a few deeper tones around her face to bring some colour back into her and so she can go longer between colour appointments.

I didn’t let her see it until it was styled - my gut was in my throat and and my heart was in my gut when I spun that chair around.

What a fun way to end Friday the 13th!
Miss Eve loves for her hair to stand out, with these raccoon tails and split coloured bangs - she does just that! She gives me inspo pics and the freedom to do as I please - within budget and reason - and we always create something amazing.

I’m trying to think of something artsy to say to describe it but I can’t. I’m just super proud of it and the smile on her face made mine even bigger. Today was exactly what we needed! 🎀
We clocked it a few times 🤏🏽🤏🏽🤏🏽☺️🤩

We started off with a double clarifying shampoo to remove product buildup and I gave her a 95% cut wet then we coloured. Root smudge melted into some teddy bear bronde 🤎🧸
I then blew out her curls, smoothed over with the straightener then defined the cut. I prefer this way with thick curls so I can soften any steps that may happen. Then we finished with a soft wave to show her texture!

Tired of straight hair? Wanting some texture and volume? A “wash & go” style?
Perms are the way to go!

I’m totally joking! And that’s what we did the entire appointment. Her sister joined and the laughs started the second our door opened to the second the door was closed.
Lies…I could still hear them when they left. 🤭

But, what a great change for her! She didn’t know her hair was that long cuz she always had it pinned up! It’s important to know how to cut curly hair wet and dry. The weight removal and texture are everything!

Lies again! The bangs are everything!
