As for me? That’s wrap! On the 2025 wedding season, and (maybe 👀) my LAST wedding season! What’s next? I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve tossed up the idea of teaching this fine art to other stylists, local and eventually beyond. What do you think? Should I dive in? 😬

Otherwise, my regulars will continue to see me behind the chair, and I will tag along to assist on weddings with anyone who will have me! As well as working in my casual healthcare adjacent role, I’m just going to enjoy my family.

So here’s how the 2025 wedding season is shaping up. Peep the photos I took of one brides animals…and none of EITHER wedding that day 😂 🐱 But how else do you act when you’re greeted by FOUR ORANGE KITTENS?! 🧡 hysterical is the only answer 🤷🏼‍♀️

Regulars will not be shocked to see this closure announcement. I have a short list of, dare I say by now, friends that I will continue to do hair for. Otherwise, I will be pouring all of my energy into this last wedding season, & then that’s a wrap for me behind the chair ☺️

This decision brings me so much peace. I maintain the position that my purpose on this planet is to serve others, but now in a much different capacity. This space & all that it has given me, all that YOU have given me, has been such an appreciated experience. Now it’s time to end this chapter, & write the next.

What is next? I’ve accepted a casual position with AHS, as well as spending time with my family, navigating academics, and frankly? Enjoying the mundane for a moment.

In closing, I just ask that whatever is next for you? Speak to people with kindness & with the benefit of the doubt. Treat people as human, have mercy, & practice gratefulness. Burnout is a heck of a chokehold, & while I have chosen this closure with full strength, we can’t ignore the part that burnout & disrespect has played in my decision.
