Most women don’t need a harder workout.
They need a different approach.
I spent years believing that if I wanted to feel better, I needed to do more.
Push harder.
Train harder.
Try harder.
But what I’ve been learning lately is that many women aren’t struggling because they aren’t doing enough.
They’re struggling because they’re carrying too much.
Too much stress.
Too much responsibility.
Too much overwhelm.
And for many women, that has become so normal they don’t even realize they’re living in survival mode.
When the nervous system is already overloaded, adding more stress isn’t always the answer.
Sometimes the answer is learning how to work with your body instead of against it.
To move.
To breathe.
To build strength.
To reconnect.
That’s one of the reasons I created Somatic Reset Workout.
Not because women need another workout.
But because many women need a different relationship with movement.
One that leaves them feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to themselves.
And honestly?
One of my favourite pieces of feedback so far was:
“My nervous system calmed down immensely after the first class. I slept like a baby.”

It’s never just about the mountains.
It’s the people you share them with.
One of my favourite moments from a past Jasper retreat.

One of the biggest things I’ve been learning lately is this:
You can’t heal a body that never feels safe enough to slow down.
So many women are trying to solve symptoms by working harder.
Trying another supplement.
Another protocol.
Another plan.
Meanwhile, they’re living in a constant state of stress, rushing, multitasking, and overwhelm.
What if your body isn’t broken?
What if it’s communicating?
What if the fatigue, inflammation, weight loss resistance, cravings, poor sleep, and hormone imbalances aren’t signs that you’ve failed…
But signs that your body is asking for support?
Because when we’re chronically stressed (which a lot of women are and don’t even realize—it has simply become their normal), the body prioritizes survival over healing.
The nervous system influences so many processes in the body.
When we’re constantly overwhelmed, overstimulated, emotionally exhausted, and rushing from one thing to the next, the body has a much harder time regulating inflammation, balancing hormones, supporting detox pathways, and recovering the way it was designed to.
And while supplements, nutrition, and hormone support can absolutely have a place, they can’t replace the foundations.
Things like:
✨ regulating the nervous system
✨ stabilizing blood sugar
✨ reducing inflammation
✨ getting enough rest
✨ creating an environment where the body feels supported
To me, this is like trying to build a house without a foundation.
We keep adding more supplements.
More protocols.
More expensive solutions.
But if the foundation isn’t strong, the rest has very little to stand on.
Sometimes the answer isn’t a harder plan.
It’s a better one.
Because nervous system health is the most foundational piece of health.
Your body heals when it feels safe.
And maybe that’s where the conversation needs to begin 🤍

NEW SERIES BEGINS JUNE 11 ✨
Not all workouts support your nervous system.
If you’ve ever left a workout feeling more depleted than energized…
you’re not doing anything wrong.
Most workouts are designed to push harder, go faster, and override your body’s signals.
But when life already feels full, stressful, or demanding,
that approach isn’t always what your body needs.
That’s where this is different.
Somatic Reset Workout is a 4-week online series that blends:
• strength training
• intentional movement
• breathwork
• nervous system support
…to help you build strength while also feeling grounded, connected, and regulated in your body.
This is about:
• building strength without burnout
• learning to move with your body, not against it
• reconnecting with yourself through movement and breath
✨ Thursdays • 9:00–9:45am (MT)
✨ Live on Zoom + replay available
✨ Begins June 11
✨ 4-week series • $65 + GST

Maybe the reason so many of us feel exhausted…
is because we’ve been taught that peace, worth, freedom, or fulfillment are always waiting somewhere ahead of us.
That if we just worked harder, healed more, stayed positive enough, trusted enough, created enough…
eventually we would arrive at the life we’re trying to build.
And honestly, I think that messaging is everywhere.
Keep improving.
Keep evolving.
Keep becoming.
As if there’s some future version of ourselves we still need to earn.
So we keep chasing.
Keep fixing.
Keep searching.
And somewhere along the way, I exhausted myself trying to force it all into existence.
Lately, I’ve been wondering if maybe that’s why I’ve felt so disconnected.
Because I’ve been searching so hard for a life outside of me…
that I stopped noticing the one unfolding right here.
Yoga teaches us that suffering begins when we believe we are separate from the present moment.
Separate from ourselves.
Separate from life.
Separate from enoughness.
Maybe I was never supposed to search for it as hard as I did.
Maybe the life I was trying to force…
is something I can slowly grow into instead.
Maybe peace doesn’t arrive all at once.
Maybe it was never somewhere ahead of me at all.
Maybe… it’s here.

Yoga + whitewater rafting?!” 🤨
I get this comment a lot when someone is inquiring about my Jasper Yoga + Adventure Retreats 😆
And honestly… I understand.
From the outside, whitewater rafting can look intimidating.
But the truth is — rafting in Jasper ends up being one of the most fun, memorable parts of the retreat.
The women who come feeling nervous are often the same ones leaving saying:
“That was AMAZING!”
“I want to do a higher level next time.”
And most of them have never gone whitewater rafting before.
We always book with Jasper Rafting Adventures and the guides make the experience feel incredibly safe, supportive, and FUN.
I think sometimes healing isn’t only found in quiet moments.
Sometimes it’s found in:
laughing until your belly hurt,
trying something new,
feeling fully present,
connecting with nature,
and remembering what it feels like to feel alive again.
This retreat blends yoga, nature, connection, adventure, and rest in such a beautiful way.
So if you’ve been hesitating…
maybe this is your sign to take the leap!

I’ve been receiving so many beautiful messages from women inside the Somatic Reset Workout series 🤍
And honestly… this series has felt really special already.
Each class has carried a different intention depending on what life has felt like in that moment.
The first class was about breath, release, and reconnecting with ourselves.
The second became softer — moving with the body instead of against it. Supporting ourselves when feeling tired, run down, or overwhelmed.
And last week’s class was all about grounding and coming back to center when life feels busy, chaotic, or overstimulating.
What I’m loving most is that this series isn’t about pushing harder or forcing the body.
It’s about learning how to move in a way that actually supports your nervous system.
Strength…
breath…
grounding…
regulation…
rest…
connection…
And hearing that women are sleeping better, feeling calmer, and genuinely loving the classes has meant so much to me ✨
