Welcome to my new page. My New Year goal was to promote my small business. My first step was having a dedicated space to share my business!

I’m a retired RN and SSW. I love the helping field. I was a born nurturer. My father once told me that I was born to help and heal people.

I have had a challenging life. I was born into a family that had followed the cycle of abuse. I was the abused! I left home at age 14 to get away to survive. I lived with my best friends parents who both had addiction issues. I put myself through college while living in this rocky environment!! I went to Toronto, the day after I graduated on the back of my brother’s motorcycle. I had a backpack and $100. I found a nursing job by day 2 in Toronto.

I met my husband on the last day of my vacation in the Bahamas in 1989. We met March 19th. He came to Canada on July 6th and we married on September 30th, all in 1989.

We have 2 sons and 2 daughters, 1 son in law and 1 daughter in law, 4 grandchildren. We’ve lived in the Bahamas, the USA and Canada.

I died on January 24th 1997 for 1 minute and 47 seconds. Upon being resuscitated they found blood clots in my lungs. I almost died a second time!

Since that event in 1997 I have suffered with situational depression, panic disorder and post traumatic stress disorder. I went into surgery, a strong independent woman and came out a little damaged.

It is my greatest wish to help women become stronger and more independent. I want to pay forward my knowledge through experience to empower women, build their self-esteem and self-worth.

My page is intended to motivate, inspire and help women shine with their beauty. Positivity is the greatest motivation of all!
