Will you bruise after a treatment?🤔

Well, under the skin, the face is a dense network of tiny blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to every layer of tissue. Some areas (like around the eyes, lips, and mid-face) have especially rich vascular networks, which is why they’re more prone to bruising.

When a fine needle or cannula passes through these layers, it can occasionally touch or nick a small vessel. Even when nothing “goes wrong,” a tiny amount of blood can leak into the surrounding tissue and show up as a bruise.

The graphic shows this vascular map beneath the surface. What you’re seeing isn’t just skin, it’s a highly active system of vessels sitting just below where treatments are placed.

Bruising is a normal. Every face is different, and so is every treatment.
