Grand Final Announcement

After an incredibly difficult decision, we are proud to announce our Top 18 Finalists who will advance to the Grand Final!

This year, we were fortunate to witness so many outstanding performances. The level of talent was truly exceptional, making every decision incredibly challenging.

The organizing committee would like to share how the Waitlist works for the Sudbury Talent Show 2026 finals, so everyone has a clear understanding of the process.

First and foremost, being placed on the waitlist is something to be proud of. These are outstanding performances that came remarkably close to securing an official spot in the finals, and the judges hold these acts in high regard.

The waitlist will be activated under the following circumstances:

1. When an official finalist is unable to continue
If illness, a scheduling conflict, or any unforeseen circumstance prevents a finalist from performing on show night, the organizing committee will promptly reach out to the next contestant on the waitlist with an invitation to take their place.

2. When the program has room to expand
Depending on the actual conditions of the night (show length, stage scheduling, etc.), the organizing committee may decide to add extra performance slots — in which case, waitlisted contestants may be invited to join without needing to wait for a spot to open up.

On the order of priority: Contestants on the waitlist will be contacted in the order established by the judges during auditions. This order was built fairly and transparently, based on actual scoring results.

The organizing committee is committed to notifying any waitlisted contestant as soon as possible should a spot become available, and we sincerely thank every contestant for their patience and good sportsmanship.
