During our chat, Rifat came up with a fantastic idea - one that supports students, helps local businesses and brings more life to Downtown Sudbury. I’m truly honored to be part of it! 🙌

Hello everyone, I'm excited to annouce we now after the Brazilian Blowout at my shop, The Romeo Effect Hair Studio!

A Brazilian Blowout offers several positive effects for your hair, primarily focusing on smoothing, reducing frizz, and enhancing shine. It can also improve manageability and make styling easier, with results that can last for several months.
Here's a more detailed look at the benefits:
Frizz Reduction:
The primary benefit is a significant reduction in frizz, even in humid conditions, by sealing the hair cuticle.
Smoother Hair:
The treatment creates a protective layer around each hair strand, resulting in smoother, more manageable hair.
Enhanced Shine:
The smoothing effect of the treatment leaves hair looking noticeably shinier and healthier.
Improved Manageability:
With less frizz and smoother texture, hair becomes easier to style and manage, potentially reducing the need for heat styling.
Long-Lasting Results:
The effects of a Brazilian Blowout can last for several months, depending on hair type and care.
Customization:
The treatment can be tailored to different hair types and desired levels of straightness.
Strengthens Hair:
The keratin infusion can temporarily strengthen the hair shaft, making it more resilient to humidity and environmental damage.
Reduces Styling Time:
Less frizz and smoother hair can lead to shorter drying and styling times.
Natural-Looking Regrowth:
Unlike some other treatments, a Brazilian Blowout allows for a more natural-looking regrowth of your hair's natural texture.

And as well we also offer Keratin Treatments which are different in application times, technique and formula. Hees a simple breakdown of the differences and similarities...

Keratin treatments work by infusing the hair with keratin protein, which bonds to the hair shaft, smoothing and repairing damage. While both keratin treatments and Brazilian blowouts aim to reduce frizz and add shine, they differ in their formulations, application, and intensity of results. Keratin treatments generally use smaller, hydrolyzed keratin molecules that pe*****te the hair shaft, while Brazilian blowouts often utilize a combination of amino acids and proteins.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
1. How Keratin Treatments Work:
Bonding:
Keratin treatments involve applying a keratin-based solution to the hair. The keratin, often in a hydrolyzed (smaller) form, pe*****tes the hair shaft, filling in gaps and repairing damage.
Sealing:
Heat, usually from a flat iron, is applied to seal the keratin within the hair shaft, creating a smooth, protective layer.
Results:
This process results in smoother, shinier, and more manageable hair, with reduced frizz and improved overall hair health.
2. Keratin Treatments vs. Brazilian Blowout:
Formulations:
Keratin treatments primarily use keratin protein, while Brazilian blowouts often incorporate a blend of amino acids and proteins.
Pe*******on:
Keratin treatments tend to pe*****te the hair shaft more deeply than Brazilian blowouts.
Intensity:
Keratin treatments can be more intense, potentially leading to a straighter result, while Brazilian blowouts tend to offer a more natural texture with a bit of curl retention.
Waiting Period:
Brazilian blowouts often have a shorter waiting period before the hair can be washed or styled, while some keratin treatments may require a waiting period after application.
3. Similarities:
Frizz Reduction: Both treatments effectively reduce frizz and add shine to the hair.
Improved Manageability: They both make hair easier to style and manage.
Temporary Results: The effects of both treatments are temporary and will gradually fade over time.

These are so
Popular and are pretty rarely offered in salons and as well many do t get the results promised even in Toronto so that these people come to Subdury after seeing the results on my IG to get the proper treatment done the right way and get exactly what's promised. I've gotten women and menfro Toronto, Brarrie, Lo don, Timmins, Sault st Marie and all over Onrltario and even some from Quebec! Im blown away from the positive response and how fast and far the reputation of the shop and these treatments has grown.

I got a call from a student wanting to do her co-op here, upon asking her a few questions i realised it was to do hair and save up money for her university and to become a nurse in Sudbury.
The role i will play to help her save for her education is to let her do hair and make the same money as a stylist renting a chair or the same commision.
With that said, im happy to annouce our new stylist at the studio, her name is OG and she is able to perform the following services

-Corn rows (designs of choice, regular)

-Twists (island twists, regular, different of extensions, different final results)

-Braids types (goddess, bohemian, normal with curled tips, traditional, knotless braids)

-Different types of hair attachments different colors, different sizes, results

Here's my favorite hair color I've done since opening up my hair studio, why? Because blonde is my strength and specialty and to finally be able to show what i can do is great, so thank you so much for your trust mademoiselle Trudeau!

She wanted to go very light blonde from a medium-dark brown which was a process as she had new regrowth 1 inch plus and colored brown in the mids and ends with a few balayaged highlights in there. So I lightened her hair up to a level 8-9 and toned it with 20 vol. T18 and in the back and underneath used Joico 10 VG 20 vol. Used Joico lightener 10 vol. And certain areas and different timing 20 vol. At first, it was a shock to us both but then it grew on us both and now she loves it and so do I.
