🐾🐶HELP LUCY HEAL🐶🐾

A precious dog named Lucy, belonging to Sarah Cunningham got loose and ran toward MR-80. Before we could stop her, she was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

After being hit, Lucy ran and hid near Bradley’s Body Shop scared and badly injured. We stayed with her there until Sarah arrived. Lucy was carefully wrapped up in a blanket and rushed straight to the Emergency vet.

Lucy’s back leg is completely broken and she now needs surgery.

Even though I had never met Sarah before this happened, being there to help, seeing Lucy injured like that, and witnessing Sarah’s absolute devastation was incredibly upsetting and heartbreaking.

Anyone who loves animals knows how awful it is to see a dog hurt and scared.

Lucy is a very loved dog, and accidents like this happen so suddenly and unexpectedly. Emergency veterinary care can be extremely expensive, and situations like this can place a huge financial strain on families.

Because of that, I want to do what I can to help.

Through Blushing Rose Nails, I will be organizing a community fundraiser to help support Lucy’s surgery and recovery.

Every little bit helps, and even if you aren’t able to donate, sharing this post helps Lucy’s story reach more people.

Dogs are family. Lucy deserves the chance to heal, recover, and get back to the happy life she had before this accident.
