DECEMBER IS HERE !!!! That means that SNIPPY has graced us at our new location and he brought his cereal!! You better be good !! 23 more days until Santa takes flight !!!

2 WEEKS !!! That’s how much time we have left at our current location. It has been a great 9.5 years here. I am looking forward to moving to the new shop at 220 Edinburgh Road South.

The new shop will be open for business on Tuesday Sept 5th at 8am.

Adam Mazziotti will be coming with me and a new barber will be joining us - Herman Matsiash.
Adam and I are looking forward to working with Herman and looking forward to welcoming all of Herman’s clients.

On Saturday Nov 19th my father, affectionately known as Sandy the Barber, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. This has been a difficult past couple of days with many more ahead. My father was a barber in Guelph for over 50years. I joined him and took over the barber shop in 2010 and I didn't regret a single minute.
Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre Hart Chapel on Wednesday evening beginning at 6pm - 9pm. Funeral mass will be at St Joseph's Church at 10am on Thursday.
Entombment will be private for immediate family only.

I’ve been barbering now for about 12 years. I love the career change that I made and I don’t regret a single day. I don’t consider what I do work. I love going in every single day as every day is different - different people, different conversations, different haircuts.

The one thing I find the hardest to cope with is when one of my regular customers passes away. They become part of my life - I get to know their wives, their kids, their parents, their problems, their successes, their failures, I hear their stories and complaints and they hear mine sometimes.

In the last few weeks I lost two special customers. Two customers that I enjoyed immensely when they came into the shop. I loved to hear their stories and I enjoyed the conversations we had. They weren’t just my customers, they were my father’s customers before me. My father and I have been cutting their hair and they have been a part of our lives for over 5 decades!

Rest in peace Gord Humphries (98years old) and George Pharoah (78years old). You will truly be missed.
