About Spade to Shade.

Spade to Shade is a landscape company with the primary focus on bringing beauty and privacy to properties through the planting of large mature trees. Started in 2017 by two brothers, Stephen and Simon Latam, whose combined knowledge and skills allow them to tackle a wide array of projects. Stephen Latam, an ISA certified Arborist has worked in the landscaping and tree nursery fields for over 12 years. Simon Latam is a landscape architect graduate of the University of Guelph as well is an ISA certified arborist. He worked in the landscape construction field for two seasons before transitioning to working as a professional landscape architect for the last two years.
