Once a surgical scar is fully healed and appropriately cleared by your surgeon for treatment, microneedling can be used to support the skin’s natural remodeling process. Controlled micro-injuries stimulate collagen and elastin production, helping improve scar texture, firmness, and overall appearance over time.

For this post-tummy tuck scar, I used a combination of traditional microneedling passes and targeted stamping to give focused attention to the scar tissue.

Scar remodeling takes time, and a series of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.
