Spring is often a season of shedding, letting go and renewal 🌸 and sometimes that means brightening your blonde & saying goodbye to several inches of hair.

It’s official ✨
April 15th, I’ll be venturing back into working for myself behind the chair—this time alongside the incredible team at Tidal Hair Lounge 🌊🌿ot wait to welcome you into this beautiful, bright new space!
After a lot of reflection, (and if course a pros and cons list), I realized this path better supports where I’m at in life right now—both for me and my family. Between doing hair behind the chair & working weddings, as well as growing my energy work clientele, I need the flexibility to honour it all (and myself), and this next step allows me to do exactly that.
I’ll have more freedom with my schedule, offerings, pricing, and availability. And for those of you who didn’t love heading into the depths of downtown, I’ll be a little closer now—nestled in the Hydrostone 🤎
To my current clients—thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and believing in me every time you sit in my chair. I would absolutely love for you to continue this journey with me in my new space.
And to those who used to sit in my chair before my time at Thumpers—if this shift makes things feel more accessible again, I would be so incredibly excited to welcome you back.
Moving into this transition, I’m feeling really grateful and so inspired for what’s ahead. Thank you for being here through it all—I’m so excited for this next chapter together ✨

Blonde with well water? .. it can be a constant battle . 🚿✨
(↓ Scroll down for hair care recommendations!!)
This new client has been blonde for years but has also been dealing with heavy well water buildup — which can leave blondes looking dull, brassy, and uneven no matter how fresh the colour is. (Swipe for the before)
Today we started with a pro chelating pre-treatment, foiled (focusing on her roots), then followed up with a gentle bleach wash to help break through some of the extreme brass and mineral buildup through her ends.
We still have a journey ahead to restore the health and brightness we’re aiming for, but visually, this made a huge difference already!
One thing many blondes don’t realize:
A huge part of maintaining beautiful blonde hair happens at home — especially if you’re on well water.
Here are 5 essentials every blonde should have in their routine:
✨ Clarifying/chelating shampoo – removes mineral buildup from well water that can cause dullness and brass ~ use once a week or once every 2 weeks, depending on washing frequency and water qualit
✨ Purple shampoo – neutralizes yellow tones and keeps blonde bright (I highly recommend using after your clarifying shampoo so you’re not fighting against buildup)
✨ Moisture conditioner or treatment – lightened hair needs EXTRA hydration to stay healthy
✨ Moisturizing leave-in – protects the hair and keeps it soft between washes
✨ 450° heat protector – essential for preventing breakage, colour fading, and damage from hot tools
Healthy blonde isn’t just about what happens in the salon — it’s about what happens between appointments too. 🤍
