Raynaud’s in TCM terms
Raynaud’s often shows up as a mix of:

Blood deficiency (not enough warm, nourishing blood reaching the extremities)

Blood stasis (circulation is sluggish)

Cold in the channels (cold constricts → fingers/toes turn white or blue)

Why beets help
In TCM, beets are considered to:

Nourish Blood

Move Blood

Support the Liver (which governs the smooth flow of qi and blood)

Beet juice can help:

Improve circulation to hands and feet

Reduce cold-induced constriction

Support people who feel cold easily, have pale complexion, dizziness, or fatigue

How to use beet juice (TCM-friendly)
To avoid worsening cold:

Use room temperature or lightly warmed

Combine with warming herbs/foods, such as:

Fresh ginger

Cinnamon

A splash of lemon

Start with small amounts (½ cup) and observe response

Example:
Beet + apple + ginger juice is gentler than straight beet juice.

When to be cautious
Beet juice may not be ideal if someone has:

Strong cold digestion (bloating, loose stools, cold abdomen)

Severe cold hands with very low energy
In these cases, soups, stews, and warm blood-moving formulas are usually better.

Best results
Beet juice works best when paired with:

Acupuncture (warming points, blood movers)

Keeping hands/feet/low back warm

Regular movement to keep qi and blood flowing

🍵 Chamomile & Ginger Tea — Your Autumn-Winter Wellness Ally 🌿

As the seasons shift and the air grows cool and damp, our bodies naturally crave warmth and calm — this is where the simple blend of chamomile and ginger tea shines

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective:
Autumn and early Winter are times when the body’s Yang energy begins to contract inward. This makes us more prone to cold, stagnation, and emotional tension. Supporting digestion, soothing the mind, and keeping the body warm all help maintain harmony.

✨ A simple daily ritual to nurture your Qi and calm your spirit as the seasons turn.
