Thank you all for keeping us so busy this back to school season, as always it has been an absolute pleasure to make sure you and your young ones are looking your best for the first days of class!

That being said, this coming November 1st, we will be having a slight price increase to offset the rising costs of business.

Pricing across the board will be Plus HST, instead of our HST included model, so for example our haircuts will increase from $40 to $40+HST, making it $45.60.

We greatly appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you again soon!

You may have run into Nick working the desk here over the last month, but going forward he’ll be taking the role of shop Apprentice, learning to cut hair and all the things that go along with it!
Nick brings top shelf customer service and an eye for detail that is absolutely unbeatable, and he’s going to make one hell of a barber!
He’s not available for practice cuts yet, but if you’re willing to help out with his skill building, we’ll be making sure to let everyone know when Nick is ready to start!

In case you’re not familiar with this guy, it’s , the funniest guy in the shop (and one of the funniest in the province really. Lookup for some top-shelf standup comedy!) and he’s going on vacation from July 31st to August 6th!

Don’t worry though, he’s added two days to his schedule this week on Tuesday and Wednesday the 29th and 30th to make sure you get a fresh cut before he’s away!

The next and biggest replacement of American made products is the widely recognized Barbicide (the blue stuff we soak our combs in) which is being replaced with a canadian alternative recognized by Health Canada in 2020 during the early days of the COVID Pandemic.

Welcome, Chemprocide! Chemprocide is manufactured in Delta, BC. And is about 3x more potent then Barbicide, which also means less plastic is being used to package and store this product!
At a 0.8% dilution rate compared to Barbicides 3% dilution rate, Chemprocide is just as effective as the blue stuff, but there is only one real downside: it’s clear. We promise our combs are being soaked in a canadian manufactured disinfection, and not just sitting in water!!!!!

We will be switching over to Chemprocide in about a week, once all our backstock of Barbicide has been used, and then we’re on the clear stuff for the foreseeable future!!
