Last post from my week of big fun colour projects. Instead of hiding the greys, we actually went through and foiled around them! This was so satisfying to actually make their hair even ~more~ grey. Then we went in and did some bold colour blocking and reshaped their rad little mullet. Thanks for the trust, Jess!

Hi folks, I have some new followers so I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself!

My name is Sophie Belliveau (they/them) and I am a 28 year old q***r hairdresser from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I have been working with hair for 8 years now, either behind the chair, doing house calls and working in film.

I am a strong believer in healthy hair care, finding the right cut that suits your lifestyle, and creating low-maintenance, lived in colour. I find joy in creating s**ggy textured cuts, foiling and balayage, as well as seeing vivids come to life. Although I have specialised in these skills, I love working with all hair textures, cuts and colours!

Every head of hair is different, so I feel I always have the chance to learn and grow as an artist with every guest who sits in my chair.

I am so looking forward to this next chapter in my life. It feels like such an incredible opportunity to have found a new space to create in. Can’t wait to see you at Grove Hair Studio starting on June 15th!
