This is more or less how I do nails! (Hint: you don't need to be Russian lol 🤣). I don't know about an hour and a half on prep work, that seems a lil too long for prep work! Don't get me wrong, it's probably the most important step, actually, they all are! This method is very time consuming but very very much worth it! Whether it's durability lasting for a 6 weeks max, minimal lifting at the time of refill, rarely any breakage, It makes it not only the most durable method but also cost effective if you only come once a month! You shouldn't have to come more than that unless you choose to. It's also the most natural looking methods that I know of. In my job, I believe in quality over quantity! I'd rather take my time and be proud of my work than rush through it, not caring if it lasts or looks good, just so I can squeeze as many clients in as possible while overcharging for shoddy work just to make a few extra bucks. I don't have respect for nail techs like that who are solely about the money and have no regard for their quality of work and lack respect for their clients who work hard everyday so they can afford a luxury service like getting their nails done and deserve the best possible service you can give them which should be exactly that! A luxury service!
