After five enjoyable years at Scallywags, here is Dave with his last client Wyatt.

Guess who’s back! Christina’s Back! 🎶 If you haven’t already heard, everyones favourite Barber is coming back to join the crew at Scallywags! ❤️ She’s super excited to see everyone again and we’re even more excited to be back cutting alongside her again. Let’s make her feel super welcome coming back, please jump in her chair and treat yourself! Thanks for supporting Scallywags we Love all of you people. 🙌

What a day.
As everyone probably knows we’ll be Closed effective tomorrow. These restrictions come from the health professionals working hard to preserve our Well Being & our Health Care System. They along with the people of Nova Scotia have done a tremendous job thus far so we have to believe in their leadership to continue to keep us one of the safest places in the world! Many hands make light work so let’s pull er together and move forward together. I know it’s not easy but compared to rest of the country we’ve had it easy. Thanks for the continued support, we’ll see ya’s shortly.

We’re super stokeddd to welcome Matt to the crew Full Time! Starting now Matt has opened his schedule up Tuesday’s -Saturday’s from here on out so please come in and sit with him! Matt has completed the barber program but will continue learning at Scallywags and for limited time you can grab a haircut from him for $20! Have to say a Big thanks to everyone who’s jumped in with Matt so far and supported him on this journey. Anyone who’s been cleaned up by Matt will probably tell you he’s a super nice, easy goin, Cape Breton’r and we’d agree with that but we’d also like to add that he’s hardworking as well!

We’re coming back!
Congratulations everyone! We still have work to do but your self control and hard work fighting this virus and situation along with our frontline workers and government has helped this province overcome a big part of this challenge we faced so a massive thanks everyone! It was a different time for all of us but it will be something we will surely never forget. As some of you may have heard Barbershops received the green light from the government to re-open on Friday June.5th! We’re super stoked to get back into the shop and see everyone, cut your hair and hear about whats been going on! Really we’re just thankful to take a step in this direction. BUT First off we have some BIG news!! Christina will not be returning to Scallywags after these pandemic restrictions are lifted, her and her husband are expecting a babyyyy!!!!!!!! Wowwwww!! We could not be happier to see her and Joe start a family and begin this amazing new chapter in their lives, they really are two of the best humans around and they’re going to make friggin awesome parents! We’re so happy and excited for them as we’re sure you are too because really who doesn’t Love Christina.
As far as the reopening plan just like every business around you can expect there will be some changes, there are some new regulations and guidelines put in place by the NS Barbers Association that we will be following. Some will hopefully be temporary but some will be permanent. We’ll be adding the new changes to the booking reminder and also posting them on here in the near future for you to read. It will be different but you can count on us still being the same people we were before all this (Just shaggier). As you can imagine we’ll be working extra hard and it’s going to be superrr busy starting back up so your patience, understanding and help through this transition period would be huge!
