As I was boarding the plane and looking for my seat, I noticed an empty front row where I could sit comfortably with my baby. Then a man said to me, “My family will be sitting here.
I told him that we could share the row and that his family could sit in the seats originally assigned to them. He refused and said I could take their seats at the back instead. I said, “Okay.
The man and his family left their assigned seats and moved to the front row near the toilet. My children and I then had both our three seats and the three seats the man and his family had abandoned. My daughters sat in our row and had an extra seat to themselves. I sat with Baby Crown in the row the man’s family had left, giving my baby and me plenty of space.
When Baby Crown became sleepy, I arranged the seats like a bed for him, and he slept like a king in first class. When I also became tired, I lay across the seats and slept while my daughter sat with the baby in the extra seat in their row.
It was a very comfortable 13-hour journey in the air. I enjoyed it even more than some people in first class. I paid less but received first-class treatment.
Guess what? The man who refused to share the front row with me was seated close to the toilet. He had to keep standing and moving his legs whenever people wanted to pass. The place was not as comfortable as he had expected, while I enjoyed the comfort of the seats he and his family had abandoned.
I wanted to complain when he refused to share the front row and offered me his family’s seats behind mine. But God said, “I know what I am doing.
When God wants to give you comfort, He can cause someone to abandon their own comfort and hand it over to you.
In any situation you find yourself, never complain. God may be making things better even when you think He has abandoned you.
Never fight those who left you, mocked you, refused to help you, or thought your life had ended. Trust God totally and completely. I tell you again "GOD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!
