Let's talk heat exposure! 😱😱😱
This is what heat exposure looks like. Everyone is likely to experience it at some point during the journey with lash extensions.
Heat exposure is a sudden exposure to high temperatures.
Here's what can happen with extreme heat exposure:
🔴 Pin straight extensions that seem very long.
🔴 Singed tips\melted tips that look like melted Barbie hair
🔴 Extensions melted causing them to stick together
🔴 Extensions that will fall out quickly due to the adhesive being overheated.
How can you avoid heat exposure?
💚 Let all the heat out of the oven when cooking. No need to linger with your head in there.
💚 Avoid the blast of steam from opening the dishwasher.
💚Do NOT use a lighter near your face! These suckers are not flame resistant.
💚 Wear an oversized pair of sunglasses while cooking to protect from the oven.
Heat exposure cannot be fixed, only replaced!
Make sure you're being careful with your lashes, so you can get the best retention.

Permanent makeup is a 2 step process. Your first touch up must be healed for 4 weeks before your touchup session can be done. This touchup must be done within 8 weeks of your initial first application.
