Some sneaky little things that could be ruining your hair:

1️⃣ Sleeping with wet hair: Hair is so fragile when it’s wet, and all that tossing/friction can lead to breakage

2️⃣ Wearing your hair in the same tight style every day: Constant tension in the same spots can contribute to breakage around your hairline and where the elastic sits

3️⃣ Using way too much dry shampoo: Dry shampoo is great between washes—but it’s not a replacement for actually cleansing your scalp

4️⃣ Waiting until your ends are severely split before getting a trim: “I’m growing it out” doesn’t mean your ends don’t need maintenance

5️⃣ Overusing protein treatments: More protein doesn’t automatically mean stronger hair. Too much can leave some hair feeling stiff and brittle

BONUS TIP FOR BLONDES:

6️⃣ Using purple shampoo every wash: More toning isn’t always better. Overuse can leave blonde hair looking dull, overly cool or feeling dry
