Current Reflexology Research Is Looking INSIDE THE BRAIN with medical specialists!

This is an exciting development.

Barbara and Kevin Kunz have spent more than four decades exploring reflexology and the nervous system.

Their work eventually helped inspire a scientific fMRI pilot study called Neural Pathways of Applied Reflexology.

Researchers scanned the brains of healthy participants and people who had experienced stroke while Kevin Kunz applied reflexology techniques to specific areas of their feet.

And something fascinating happened.

The preliminary results showed activation in areas of the brain related to the applied reflexology techniques on the feet.

It is incredibly exciting to see modern brain-imaging technology being used to investigate how reflexology may work.

Science continues to ask questions.
