She sold her wedding ring for her son, He did this 👇👇👇to her 💔

When her son got accepted into university, she had no money left to pay his fees. She quietly removed her wedding ring, the last thing she had kept from her late husband, and sold it. She never told her son.
Years passed. He graduated, got a good job, and moved to another city.
His mother waited for him to visit.
Months became years.
Then one Christmas, he finally came home. She thought he had returned because he missed her.
Instead, he came with a woman and said, Mum, I want to sell this house. I need the money to start my business..
She stared at him in silence.
That was the house where she had raised him, sacrificed for him, and sold her most precious possession so he could have a future.
She smiled through her tears and asked, My son, when you were building your future, did you ever remember who gave up hers for you?

Abeg, what is the offence?
If a woman can love her father deeply after marriage, why can’t a man love and respect his mother too?
Of course, every married person should know how to make decisions with their spouse. But loving your parents and listening to their advice shouldn’t automatically make you a ,mummy’s boy.

Yesterday, when I got home from work, my husband was leaving to pick up Gee from school. I waited in the car because I wanted to take her shopping for a few things she needed, including a cheaper pair of headphones she could leave at school.

When she got home, she came straight into the garage, entered my car and kissed me. I told her, Drop your bag and come with me.

She asked, Where are we going?

I said, Just do what I said.

She got into the car. I drove off, and she kept asking where we were going. When I didn’t answer, she eventually relaxed and started telling me everything that happened at school. 😂

As I drove, something hit me deeply.

This child trusted me enough to follow me even when she didn’t know where I was taking her. She didn’t have all the answers, but she trusted that I wouldn’t lead her somewhere harmful.

And I thought about God.

Sometimes God tells us, Trust Me, but we keep asking, Where are You taking me? What is going to happen next? How will this work?

We want to know the destination before we take the first step.

Maybe faith is simply learning to trust the One who already knows the road.
