DONATIONS NEEDED FOR CATS RESCUED FROM BACKYARD BREEDER!

Monetary donations are urgently needed to help cover costs of medical care for a group of 26 cats (some with kittens) being rescued from a backyard breeder!

Due to the sudden and unexpected death of their Brantford area owner, who had been breeding several types of cats for profit, a number of pure breed and mix breed cats have found themselves in urgent need of rescue, medical care, and adoptive Forever Homes.

All of the cats are suffering with parasite infestations - earmites, tapeworms, roundworms, and Coccidia. They are unspayed/unneutered, but they are in overall fair-to-good body condition, with healthy body mass, and are free of upper respiratory illnesses.
All of cats will require basic treatments for routine parasites, will require Coccidia-specific oral medication, and will each need to be vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered.
Nursing mothers will need to continue to raise their young families - the last litters they will ever be forced to raise, until their kittens, too, can be fully vetted and made available for adoption.

All 26 cats, and their kittens, must be removed from the home and placed into foster homes by January 23rd 2019, and foster homes are still needed to save these lives!

MEDICAL CARE FOSTER HOMES URGENTLY NEEDED

Pride is currently working to rescue a number of young/adult cats from the home of a "backyard breeder".

Due to the sudden and unexpected death of the owner, and a lack of interested family members to take on the animals, there are a number of "pure breed" cats and kittens who need to be rescued after living together in a home where they were being bred for profit. Breeds include Bengal, Himalayan, Siamese, and Ragdoll cats, and mixes of these breeds.
Pride has already taken 5 adult cats to the vet, and all of the animals are carrying earmites, tapeworm, and other intestinal parasites, and these cats are currently being boarded at the clinic where treatment has begun to restore their health, and get them ready for spay/neuter surgery.

We are currently seeking foster homes that can offer an isolated, self contained and easy-to-clean space in which the foster cat can be treated for these issues, and where he or she can be kept isolated away from other household pets and children until medical issues have been resolved.

Treatments include oral and topical medications, and the foster family must be able to attend vet re-checks with the foster pet - we will make every effort to book vet visits to fit easily into your schedule.
All medications and treatment supplies will, of course, be provided by the rescue.
