Bridal trial season is just about here!
2025 marks my TWELFTH year doing hair and makeup for weddings! Wow! Time has flown and I truly feel so lucky!
2025 is also my first year doing this job as a ‘working mom’!
My baby arrived just before Christmas (a few weeks early!) which is why I’ve been so quiet on this app so far this year! I will absolutely be sharing more about her and the exciting journey we’ve been on so far. It is the best evolution of my life 🩷

Almost every client I did makeup for on Saturday asked for little to no blush. The super millennial blush lover in me just had to hold back the rouge with all I had but I have to admit- I don’t hate how a light/no blush look turns out 🩷

‘Soft glam’
Some women would look at this level makeup in a mirror as ‘a lot’ believe it or not. And it did take 45 minutes to create this look so it certainly isn’t ’no makeup’. However I love being able to show the HD photos of the before and after makeup look to just exemplify how little the camera picks up of the actual makeup. When I look at these photos I just see a beautiful, fresh faced, maid of honour- I don’t see a bunch of makeup piled on her face and I don’t feel the makeup distracts from her beauty or ‘stands out’ as the main focus of these photos. I never want the makeup I apply to do either of those things. I do ask for the trust that as not only a makeup artist but also a photographer I will absolutely ensure you look great for photos- and that does require probably more powder and maybe even more blush than you are used to. I use photos like these to encourage my clients- I will NOT make you look over the top or cakey, that’s a guarantee 🤍

I have ALWAYS loved getting to work with the ‘moms’ on wedding mornings. Forcing these sweet women to have a seat and be glammed (sometimes for only the first or second times in their whole lives) is such an honour for me! 🤍
