Tex needs our help. Quick. #A5639371 3 month old neutered male 19lbs. Adorable. Baby. Arrived as a stray. No one ever came for him. Waiting 2 weeks in a JAMMED PACKED shelter is so bad for these young puppies. 3 dogs in a kennel - one died of Parvo several days ago. Today the little chocolate baby was euthanized because of it. Tex’s fate will likely be the same if we can’t find a way out for him. Palmdale shelter had half the amount of kennels as Lancaster Shelter and takes in the same insane amount of dogs daily. PUPDATE: Mackie was adopted! 🙌❤️ _____ Oh Mackie 🥺🙏 1-year-old Mackie is such a sweet and gentle giant 🥺 Mackie lived with his former family his whole life until sadly the landlord said he had to go 💔 Now, this beautiful boy with the soulful eyes is quietly waiting for another family to notice him 😔 Mackie is a real sweetheart and, despite his size, thinks he is a lap dog ❤️ He enjoys getting treats and will take them gently from your hand. He is great with children and was so happy to spend time with our summer campers this past week. Mackie is also good with other dogs, especially big ones. PUPDATE: Stanley was adopted!! 🙌 Follow his journey @mrstanleythecowpup ❤️ ______ Oh Stanley 🙏 What are we going to do with you? 🥹 1 ½ year old Stanley is half dog, half cow and 100% handsome pants! ❤️ Sadly, Stanley was found as a stray, suffering from heartworm disease, so his past is a mystery 💔 After months of being in the shelter with little to no interest from adopters, he is now our most overlooked dog 😔 Stanley is a solid boy at 60lbs and gets very excited for his walks. Because of this, we recommend a strong harness for his comfort and yours. He is very curious and will sniff everything on his walks! Stanley knows how to sit for treats, but like all younger dogs, he would benefit from basic training to help him improve on his commands. Will you help this young guy get a new start to his life? 🙏 We understand that adopting a dog with heartworm illness may sound difficult, but it’s actually very treatable and Stanley is receiving his Heartworm treatments right here in our clinic.
