Brides, your makeup will look 100x more flawless if you remove the peach fuzz on your skin.

That "glass skin" look cannot be achieved with facial hair on the surface.

If you do not wax, you can request for me to shave the peach fuzz with a gentle disposable face razor before makeup application for a smoother finish.

I've been receiving a lot of bridal inquiries wanting to book party makeup because they want "soft" makeup or it's a "home event"

TIME: Bridal makeup takes double the time or more. Not only is the appointment 3 hrs+ to ensure we perfect every single detail & take our time to do so but there are also countless texts/emails/calls before the big day to discuss ideas/looks. A “simple” or “soft” makeup look may seem to clients as a quicker appt but the time we allocate to bridal appts is not just for application, but mostly for the perfection & finesse - taking our time to ensure every detail is perfected & stays that way the whole night.

PRODUCTS: Since it seems so much easier to put a price on a product than a skill set; When it comes to the bride, we only use high end expensive products catered to the brides specific needs. We hand select each and every product, from the finish to the shade to the longevity to ensure the makeup looks fabulous from the start to the end of the night & looks good in every lighting (a lot more product is used to ensure your makeup shows up in the photographs)

PRESSURE: Bridal bookings are no joke; it is a very special occasion for the client & the way they look and feel is in our hands. Not only are we there as a makeup artist, but we have to be prepared to be whatever you need throughout the process of application; whether that’s someone who listens, a friend to confide in, someone to join in on the excitement or wipe away tears and fix up the makeup etc. The pressure of ensuring that the bride is happy at the end is huge!

MOBILE SERVICE: Many artists only travel for brides & most of us charge travel fees. These travel fees don’t even account for half the time & effort that goes into preparing to work in a different setting. The packing, driving, setting up in a whole new location, not having proper lighting or a proper setup but still being able to deliver our best in whatever circumstances without complaints.
