Making soap can sound super complicated but with a few kitchen tools, oils and lye it’s pretty simple!

All you need is a few bowls, a pot, something for stirring and a spatula or two for scraping down the sides.

A scale, thermometer and immersion blender (unless you want to whisk by hand forever 😅) but that’s about it!

You can create recipes, look them up and use other peoples, add colours or keep it simple and leave it natural ☺️

Carefully curated goat milk soap, created because of my love for everything lavender. This lightly scented soap provides a luscious bubbly lather that leaves skin feeling moisturized and silky smooth.

This was my first attempt using natural colouring. I was going for a light pastel purple. It didn’t quite work out. But it smells phenomenal and works great!

Lavender has many benefits for skin and our nervous systems. Such as calming us down and helping our skin heal!

All essential oils are 100% pure and therapeutic grade. No fragrances will be used at The Slippery Goat Soapery.

Adding goat milk to the soap making process has many benefits such as:

- moisturizing the skin
- balancing skin pH
- anti aging effects
- exfoliating (due to the lactic acid)
-maintains skin healthy bacteria

All milk used to create Slippery Goat Soaps is hand milked by yours truly from my small herd of Boer goats. Fresh, pure, raw goats milk.

Curious if anyone would be interested in felted soaps? They would be felted with angora fibre, as they are one of the animals kept here at Whispering Winds Homestead where all Slippery Goat Soap is made ☺️

Bar soap isn’t much different to use than liquid soap ☺️ it was a very easy transition in our home to leave liquid soap and extra plastics behind

It’s really not much different than using a liquid soap, except instead of squirting the soap on the sponge you rub it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Our dish soap bars are made from all natural ingredients that leave your dishes nice and clean 🧼 DM to order or with questions!
