I had a client come in yesterday who had over processed hair and a significant amount of breakage. But she loves being blonde!
We last minute switched gears and decided it was time to prioritize hair health but still create a beautiful colour she loves and feels good in. We talked about backing off the full head bleach foils, and allowing a bit more of her natural to grow out. Creating a more lived in look that requires less maintenance, fewer appointments in a year, more money in her pocket, but still keeping some of the bright blonde she loves.
We focused on adding a few baby lights around her face, being careful not to overlap bleach and causing more damage. I then added some teasy lights through the top to create a soft blend between her highlights and natural colour. This will allow her highlights to grow out softer and more seamless with no harsh lines so we can spread out her appointments.
We were both thrilled with the results.
