Charlie was one of those people. As an announcer, his voice brought energy, excitement, and heart to every moment—but it was who he was off the mic that truly made him unforgettable. He gave so much to his community, always showing up, always caring, always making things better just by being there.
I feel so lucky to have known him, and I will miss him more than words can say.
He loved his family so very much.

Although I never met my grandfather, I am deeply grateful for his service to our country. He is often in my thoughts. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to him and to all the men and women who have fought for our freedom. A simple 'thank you' hardly seems enough.
