Well!! Good news, I'm starting back to work THIS WEEK!!

Here's the low down. As most of you that follow me know, late December I broke my wrist and acquired another condition called CRPS. This dysfunction has been a challenge to overcome but I'm happy to report I'm progressing wonderfully and seeing lots of relief on a daily basis. A lot of my strength and coordination has returned! This allows me to start back in the clinic.

To start, I'm setting some boundaries that are necessary for me to keep building my strength without harming myself and re-injuring my hand and wrist. Please be patient.

Currently, I will be starting back with 2 appt's daily. One in the morning and one late afternoon. If these times do not work for you, please book in and with your appointment, please state if a better time works for you. I have no issues accommodating another time, I just cannot have appt times back to back until I know I can safely do that. You can also text me directly and I'll assist you.

Now unfortunately, I will not be accepting new clients until I feel my hand is more healthy and stable. So all current clients can book online as of today. When this changes, I will notify the public.

Also a new change, payment for services MUST be paid at the time of your appointment or prior. We all have very busy lives and a lot on our minds! Clients tend to forget to send payment when they get home! Thanks for understanding everyone 😊

UPDATE!!

Hello my lovelies!! Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today, doesn't it feel good?! Hopefully Spring is here to stay.

Here's the skinny on my break. The break itself is healing just fine! That's not, unfortunately, my issue! When I broke my wrist, I triggered another condition called CRPS - Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It's not rare, but not very common either. This syndrome has some odd symptoms that are hard to overcome. Regardless of what I do, this condition can hang around for quite sometime, making everyday life a tad difficult. Especially for a massage therapist! It can heal itself in a couple months, or a couple years. In extreme cases, it stays with you for a lifetime. I'm responding incredibly well to all avenues of treatment, I'm happy to report. 2 appt's a week at the Wascana Hand Program in Regina has been my saving grace! They're taking great care of me and I'm working hard to get back to function. Patience is the key here. So unfortunately, I have no date of when I will be physically able to return to massage therapy. I will keep you in the loop as soon as my team feels I can return without causing more damage to my hand and wrist.

With all that being said, I do have a new venture on the go. Currently training and I am excited to bring this to Humboldt!! I didn't expect it to come right now, but life is like that. Embrace the unknown and trust the Universe.

However...I am not, unfortunately! On Monday the 22nd, I had a big slip and fall. I broke my wrist and am now casted.

Needless to say, the clinic will be closed for a bit. I will resume when I am able, please keep an eye on my page. Please feel free to share this announcement as I'm having issues texting and typing with my left hand lol. That's right, broke the dominant hand, ugh.

If anyone knows a dog walker, it would be much appreciated!
