Ingersoll Massage Therapy - Permanently Closed

Thank you for any interest but this business is now closed. 🙏🏻

I think we’ve contacted most of our clients at this point, but we just wanted to let everyone know what we’ve decided to close the clinic at the end of the year. Thank you for your patronage, we truly appreciate all of the people who have come to us over the years, and we wish everyone the best going forward. Thank you all.

You can still contact James or Kaitlyn directly if you would like to go to their other clinics in St. Thomas and Woodstock, respectively.

The announcement of the new stay at home order doesn’t seem to be affecting healthcare, so we’re still open our usual hours.

We’ve been going full steam now that we’re back, but we’ve had to sadly say goodbye to Kirk. He’s been a lynchpin in the clinic since the beginning and he’ll be sorely missed. He’s off to some awesome things though, so we’re happy that he’s found something he loves and we wish him nothing but the best.

Here’s an update for those coming for appointments.

Good news! The CMTO has notified RMTs that they can gradually begin to treat clients again. They’ve provided a new set of instructions regarding cleaning the clinic, screening clients and self care routines for us to follow. As we find the best ways to comply with and implement these new rules, expect to hear from your therapist in the coming weeks for when we’ll be returning to work.

Still no word on when we’ll be allowed to open again. We have received a draft of the new expectations for PPE and cleaning practises, so the CMTO and RMTAO have been working behind the scenes. As soon as we hear anything, we’ll post it here.

There have been some early rumblings of possible return to work dates for RMTs, but nothing solid yet. There’s also discussion on therapists requiring PPE during treatments as well as additional sanitation precautions. As soon as anything concrete is decided we’ll post the information here for our clients to see.

With the extension of the non-essential business closure until May 6, the clinic will continue to be closed until then. Hang in there, we’ll do everything we can to get people back for their treatments as soon as we’re allowed to open shop.
