We spent last week in Baker Lake at the Jonah Amitnaaq School during TASK week. We delivered a hairstyling course to high school students to help develop skills and interest in trades. Students attending and completing the course will get 1 high school credit. We saw so much talent and interest. We had a blast and built so many wonderful relationships! We look forward to the future at this school with so much access to trades training. Thank you Agneico Eagle (AEM) for inviting us!

We are already into our final week of our Nujalirigiuqsaniq - Into to Hairstyling. The students have advanced so quickly I wouldn’t even say “intro” anymore! Good worth ethic and quick at learning techniques. Keep it up! 💪
