My Bride hates makeup.

Sometimes I have clients that come to me because someone else has booked services for them. My Bride hates makeup. She never wears it and was on the fence about having someone come do her makeup for her wedding day. She wanted to feel like herself and not have anything to heavy or feel like she looked unrecognizable.

I love a good challenge. My Bride Natalie was so happy with the result and felt confident walking down the aisle knowing she looked exactly how she wanted to and was comfortable with her overall experience.

A little Full Glam moment.

The final images in my series of looks I worked on with . For this look, I created a more smokey eye look, added a half lash, more highlighter and blush and opted for a glossy lip stain and deeper lip liner. This look gives more definition to the eyes to create more drama and depth to the look.

Soft Glam. The most requested look people ask for. This is what most people think of when they ask me for "natural" makeup. This is most definitely not natural, but is a softer look. Light flush of color on the cheeks, minimal eye shadow, lash clusters, lip liner and a lip color and gloss.

Glowy, bronzy, fresh. I love this look. Not overdone, just enough to look enhanced and still look like you.

So you want natural makeup for your wedding? When you ask me for a "Natural" look, this is what I envision.
Barely there foundation and concealer, a tiny bit of eyeliner, mascara only, clear lip balm, light blush and bronzer.

• My interpretation of "Natural" is far different from my clients. As a Professional Makeup Artist with 26 years in the industry, I see makeup very differently than what social media teaches us. I'm not here for the trends or the influencers picks. I'm here for the education and sharing what I've learned over the years.

• Most clients ask for "natural", but what they are really asking for is Neutral or Natural looking makeup. There is a huge difference and I'm happy to share my knowledge and exoerience with you all!

Wedding day vs Bridal Preview (trial).

Subtle differences, like blush, eyeliner blown out a little more and intensity, more refined and a hint of shimmer.

Trials are so important to "live" in the makeup before your big day. Get to know what you like, and what you don't. Your artist will make notes about any changes they want to make as well as changes you want also.

Feeling comfortable and like yourself is so crucial for your wedding day. Your artist wants to ensure you are 100% happy with your overall look. Communication and honesty is so important for a seemless experience.
