How it differs from chemical SPF:

🔹 Light deflecting minerals such as zinc and titanium dioxide sit on the surface of the skin and are not chemicals absorbed by the skin.

🔹 They filter out harmful UV rays penetrating into the skin and causing hyperpigmentation, degradation of collagen and elastin and skin cancers.

🔹 Mineral SPF effectively protects both UVB, and UVA which penetrates into the dermis and where melanocytes reside which triggers a melanin party resulting in dark ‘sun spots’ and a tan which is actually a scar.

🔹 The higher the SPF does not mean the more you’re protected! A SPF 30 is sufficient for protection and should be reapplied whether using chemical or mineral sunscreen.

🔹 Mineral sunscreens have less risk of causing sensitivities, reactions and breakouts in my experience as a skin professional. Medical grade skincare will have undergone more clinical research & development in producing clean, effective products to protect the skin from photoaging.

It’s important to use the right blend of slightly longer and curlier lashes on the eye which needs lifting to correct symmetry. Using my signature we achieved texture and volume without looking too stark or bold with a mix of black / brown lashes in .04 / .05 in Kitten Styling.

On this Lash Line Enhancement touch up we decided to add more thickness and bring the ombré shading up in a brown colour while refreshing the black along the lash line making the lashes appear fuller and eyes more lifted.
