Had the absolute pleasure doing this beautiful momma's makeup yesterday and this photo that Lisa Beaton DiGeso from Milk & Honey Photography is just so darn talented, I cannot wait to see more from this stunning maternity shoot.

🌈Last night was pure magic.
I swear there are no such thing as coincidences.
I decided very last minute to arrange for a dear photographer friend (Monika from ) to go out and play with this beautiful mama. The wind picked up at the perfect time, and we shot until way past sundown.
Near the end of the session we stopped at our last spot, and suddenly a rainbow appeared. This is her rainbow baby after losing her baby. We all had full body goosebumps. The air was electric, and she said it's perfect because of that loss.
Six hours later her sweet baby girl arrived a week early, and maybe that rainbow was her little girl lost telling her mama she was on her way.
We all had a few tears this morning.

Went on a little golden egg hunt today and low and behold... I found the golden egg of the day 😊 Thank you for my volume spray, super hold finishing spray. it's got such a great hold! Highly recommended for professional use..

The Dreamy Soft Smoke Eye...

To achieve a dreamy smoked eye, focus on soft gradients and luminous textures rather than harsh lines.
The Step~ by~ Step Guide
1. Prime and Prep: Apply a lightweight concealer or eye primer to create a smooth, even canvas.
2. Transition Shade: Sweep a matte, neutral taupe or warm tan through the crease using a fluffy brush to build soft dimension.
3. The "Soft Smoke" Base: Press satin-finish of espresso, charcoal or, mauve shadow along the upper lash line, blending upward toward the center of the lid.
4. Diffuse the Edges: Use a clean blending brush to buff the edges of the transition shade for a seamless, hazy effect.
5. Add the "Dreamy" Element: Tap a shimmering champagne or iridescent topper onto the very center if the lid to catch the light. You can use this color as well under the bottom lash line to give the eye some extra highlight after step 7.
6. Upper Lid Liner: Here you can use different stages for softer or stronger look, for a softer look a dark brown or black eyeshadow across the lash line, if you would like a more solid and bolder eye you can use liquid liner.
7. Lower Lash Line: Softly smudge the transition shade under the bottom lashes to mirror the smokiness without looking heavy.
8. Finish: Apply two coats of lengthening mascara and false lashes of your choice to give the eye the elegant pop.
The remaining makeup look was the golden goddess bronzer finish with a pop of extra blush and highlighter for that added glow, keeping the lip to a neutral gloss for that added soft pop.

The Golden Goddess..

An iconic makeup look ~ characterized by bronzed, glowing sun-kissed luminous skin.
Steps: Apply a luminous primer and dewy foundation, (BB Cream is perfect for this). You can use either a liquid or powdered bronzer on the cheekbones, forehead, and jawline for a seamless tan.
Eyes: Sweep a shimmering gold or bronze shadow across the lids. Add a pop of bright champagne, cream shimmer or glitter and finish with chocolate brown powder liner and lashes of your choice.
Blush: Soft pinks/apricot with a hint of shimmer to give the sun kiss warmth.
Highlight: Dust a gold-toned highlighter onto the high points of the face~ cheekbones, brow bones, and the bridge of the nose.
Lips: Keep it neutral with a soft natural lipliner and a touch of tinted gloss.
