It’s a while since I introduced myself. I’m Arnica owner of If I’m not working you can find me in my natural habitat outdoors adventuring with my eight year old mastiff Floyd.

Seventeen years ago I followed a boy to Kamloops and started my business but I’ve lived all around the beautiful province of British Colombia.

I’ve operated solo > mid-size > large scale > small size teams on my entrepreneurship journey and have learned so much about myself along the way. I’m an eternal student who loves gaining and sharing knowledge, collaboration over competition always.

Tips on optimal tattooing skin prep prior to your Lip Blush procedure:

1. Avoid alcoholic beverages 24 hours prior

2. Avoid caffeine the day of

3. Avoid high potency supplements such as fish oils, greens and medications that could potentially thin the blood such as ibuprofen.

4. Performing a lip scrub daily and moisturizing daily will best ensure tissue is smooth, supple and hydrated for best results.

5. Drink plenty of water the week leading up to your appointment.

6. Avoid sun exposure before / after and protect your lips with an spf lip balm or sunscreen.

7. Avoid retinol, AHA’s, actives and resurfacing treatments around the lip area for the week prior to appointment is best advised.

8. The more relaxed you are the better so taking into consideration when your menstrual cycle is in relation to tattooing can also help assist in your experience being as comfortable as possible.
